Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CrewCommander. We've written them in plain English. The short version: use the product for legitimate roofing business purposes, pay your bill, and we'll do our part to keep the product working well for you.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CrewCommander, you agree to these terms. If you're using CrewCommander on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the product.

Description of Service

CrewCommander is an AI-powered CRM operations platform built for residential roofing contractors. It lets you manage jobs, estimates, proposals, and communications by conversing with an AI assistant (Commander), and integrates with CRM platforms including AccuLynx and JobNimbus. The service is provided over the internet as a subscription.

Account Registration and Responsibilities

You need to create an account to use CrewCommander. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it current. If your contact email changes, please update it — we use it for billing notices and important product communications.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at legal@crewcommander.io.

Subscription and Billing

CrewCommander is billed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically on your billing date each month until you cancel. Prices are listed on our pricing page.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then.

No refunds for partial months. We don't issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, your account remains active through the end of that month and no further charges are made.

Upgrades and downgrades. Plan changes take effect at your next billing cycle. Upgrading mid-cycle will be prorated on your next invoice.

Free Trial

New accounts receive a free trial of 14 days or 3 completed jobs, whichever comes first. No credit card is required to start a trial. During the trial, you have full access to every feature on every plan.

At the end of the trial period, you'll be prompted to choose a plan and enter payment information to continue. If you don't subscribe, your account becomes read-only and you can export your data before it is deleted after 30 days.

Acceptable Use

Use CrewCommander for legitimate roofing business purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities in our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the product
• Abuse or attempt to manipulate Commander's AI in ways designed to circumvent its intended operation
• Share your account credentials with people outside your registered organization
• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code
• Resell or sublicense access to CrewCommander without our written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

Data and Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using CrewCommander, you agree to that policy. The short version: we use your data to provide and improve the service, we don't sell it, and you can access or delete it at any time.

Intellectual Property

CrewCommander — the product, its design, code, and underlying technology — is owned by us. Using the product doesn't give you any ownership rights to the software itself.

Your data is yours. The jobs, contacts, documents, and measurement reports you create belong to you. We don't claim any ownership over your business data. You grant us a limited license to process and store your data for the purpose of providing the service.

Limitation of Liability

CrewCommander is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that every AI-generated output will be perfectly accurate. You should review any estimates, proposals, or materials calculations the product generates before relying on them for business decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrewCommander's liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Termination

You can cancel your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the service.

If we terminate your account for reasons other than a terms violation, we'll provide at least 30 days' notice and a prorated refund for unused subscription time. If we ever decide to shut down the service entirely, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and help you export your data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use CrewCommander after that date means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with changes, you can cancel your account before they take effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of CrewCommander will be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
